Zoidland!

First off, an apology: I’ve been sick as a dog this weekend, so the comic just wasn’t coming. So, in lieu of that, here’s a fun little bit that I snagged off of Ami’s blog: 7 weird things about me (in no particular order).

1. I love to put things in order; alphabetical, numerical, what have you. I once rearranged all the DVDs on our shelf in alphabetical & date order, according to director.
2. Whenever I see a sequence of numbers, I often add up all the individual digits, then with the resulting number, I repeat, until I’ve reduced it down to a single digit. (e.g., 17543=>1+7+5+4+3=20=>2+0=2)
3. I’m colorblind, slightly hearing impaired, and unable to donate blood for medical reasons.
4. Usually, when I’m eating, I tend to eat one type of food at a time (i.e., I’ll eat one thing on my plate completely before moving on to the next). Casseroles are the obvious exception to this.
5. If walking on a sidewalk with regular divisions, I like to adjust my stride so that an equal number of footsteps occur on each sidewalk division. One-to-one is the best, but two-footsteps-to-one-sidewalk-division is acceptable, too.
6. When I’m talking on the phone, I prefer to be in motion, usually walking around the center island in our kitchen on one particular rectangular path of the linoleum.
7. I have never actually been diagnosed with OCD.

That last fact seemed the most important to include here, for some reason…
