Do you know why it’s been so long since I did one of these old TV gags? Because I’ve switched computers & programs for drawing the comic, so I had to redraw the set from scratch. Yes, I could’ve done it fairly easily, but I wanted it to match as closely as possible the older TV gags, without looking too much like it was traced. Plus, some of the visual details of the characters have changed since I first drew the set, so I had to update the look a little. In any case, what do you think? I feel like I hit a good balance…
Sorry for the lack of comic tonight. Both I and the Eponymous Neaner are heavily involved in our church’s Vacation Bible School program, which pretty well eats up my normal comic-writin’ time. I might be able to squeeze in something later this week, but don’t bank on it.
