Yes, welcome back to a Monday night update! My work schedule has changed once more, and I find myself once again able to spend some one-on-one er, -two time with my kiddos on Monday nights, followed by a little “me” time so I can post these fabulous comics for all of you! Hopefully, this means I’ll be able to get back into a little more of a groove for you all.

Also, apologies for some of the wonkiness of tonight’s art. Still getting used to the tablet and the new software. Think I started getting a feel for it about halfway through the strip, but really didn’t feel like going back and redrawing what I had already done. Go ahead, call me lazy. …Oh, that was rhetorical. Kinda hurts when you say it out loud like that…

In any case, my apologies to all for going silent the past couple weeks. The family’s been fighting not one, but at least two separate flu bugs, which decided to join forces and attack us all at once. We’re finally starting to return to normal, and I promise that Zoidland will, too.

For those of you who haven’t yet seen the new Battlestar Galactica, you’re honestly missing some of the finest television out there. Heroes and villains both – each – have massive flaws and fantastic virtues; characters you like or dislike at one point go through events, leading them to make choices that may change your opinion; people die and the other characters actually react to it, rather than forgetting them the following week; big questions are asked; pat answers are rarely given. It’s everything television should be.

Still makes me a geek for liking it, though, huh? (sigh)
