Hope you don’t mind the quick trek through time, here, although I’m somewhat ashamed to admit that I had to look up a suitable date for the X-Files reference. (Wanted to be post-movie, but before things really tanked, ratings-wise…) Whaddaya think of Jane’s looks through the years? And for panel 2, I decided to draw Zoid as he existed in my rough sketches at the time. Bit of a change, huh?

Oh, and I thought CGI Yoda was a massive improvement over the frankly lame puppet of Episode I. Granted, puppet Yoda of Empire and Jedi is vastly superior, but this was an acceptable second.

So, dear readers, I ask you: Which one of us is geekier? The fictional character who spent a half-hour figuring out how to write her name in an equally-fictional language?

Or the comic strip author who spent a half-hour of his time figuring out how to write the name of a fictional character in an equally-fictional language?
